Replit Agent vs Hosting: Same Credit Pool?

This page covers whether Replit Agent usage and publishing share one credit pool. The answer is plan-specific: Starter splits Agent daily credits from monthly cloud credits; Core and Pro share monthly credits. Current plan prices stay on Replit. Cross-builder coupling is on the deployment-limits matrix. This is not an Agent prompting guide.

Direct answer

If I burn Replit Agent credits, does hosting stop?

Starter: two meters
Fact Starter has daily credits for Agent usage, up to a monthly cap, that reset each day. It also has a separate monthly cloud-credit allowance for databases, object storage, and publishing (Autoscale and static). Agent daily credits are not the publishing meter. Exact daily Agent numbers are unpublished on the verified pages.
Core and Pro: one monthly pool
Fact Core and Pro monthly credits automatically apply to Agent, publishing, network transfer, database storage, and Replit AI Integrations. Publishing costs deduct from those monthly credits. Usage-based fees apply only after the included monthly credits are fully used. Do not copy this pool onto Starter.
After Core/Pro included credits
Fact Official publishing docs and Replit Support (16 Mar 2026) say the app keeps running and billing shifts to pay-as-you-go. A usage limit / budget can still hard-stop further spend. Starter’s upgrade copy is what documents pay-as-you-go as a Core unlock, not a Starter path.
Starter publish expiry
Fact Starter includes one published app that automatically goes down after 30 days. Full build is not included. That 30-day expiry is not the Core/Pro shared-credit overage path.
Core vs Pro rollover
Fact Core credits reset each billing cycle and do not roll over. Pro unused credits roll over for a documented additional period. Exact remaining balances are Unknown — account_dependent.

Plan-specific meters

Do not convert Replit USD credits into Bolt tokens or Lovable credits. Do not treat Starter as Core.

What this page does not do

TraceCheck maintainer: review when Replit changes Starter’s split Agent-versus-cloud meters, Core/Pro shared monthly credits, Starter 30-day publish expiry, or spend-cap behavior. Do not invent Starter daily Agent numbers. Do not copy the Core/Pro pool onto Starter.
