Direct answer

If v0 credits run out, is the Vercel deploy dead?

v0 credits
Fact Each v0 plan includes a monthly credit allowance. Generations draw from that balance. When credits are used up, generation pauses. Free also has a 7 message/day limit.
Publishing
Fact v0 Publish creates a production deployment on Vercel. v0 accounts are Vercel accounts. Vercel Pro is not required to use v0 and does not add v0 features.
Separate hosting meter
Fact Vercel hosting usage is not the v0 credit balance. Hobby plans pause when they exceed included free-tier usage. Pro users can configure Spend Management to pause deployments or notify at 100% usage.
New-user paid path
Fact The public pricing page currently sells Free, Plus ($30/user/month), Business ($100/user/month), and Enterprise. Docs still list Premium at $20, and say Premium is being sunsetted and is no longer available to new users.

What this page does not do

TraceCheck maintainer: review when v0 credit rules, Premium sunset, or Vercel Hobby pause/commercial terms change. Do not collapse v0 credits into Vercel usage credits.
