Contact TraceCheck

Send corrections, source questions, privacy requests, or general site feedback to the TraceCheck maintainer through the public support Issues page.

Open TraceCheck support Issues on GitHub ↗

You can read the support page without signing in. Posting requires a GitHub account. Requests and maintainer replies appear in the same public issue; this is not a private contact form.

Corrections and source issues

Include the TraceCheck page URL, the statement that needs review, and an official source URL if available. The maintainer checks the source before changing a published fact. Conflicting or undisclosed information may remain Unknown.

A useful report separates a source correction from an experience on one device. For a Windows issue, the relevant Windows version, KB identifier and symptom help identify the record. Do not include identifying device information or private logs.

Page: the TraceCheck URL
Claim: the exact statement in question
Evidence: the official URL and relevant section
Suggested correction: what the evidence establishes, including any uncertainty

A user report can trigger a review; it does not immediately change a record to confirmed. No response-time guarantee is offered.

Privacy requests

Start with a general description of your request without sensitive details. Do not post personal information, credentials, API keys, private billing information, or screenshots containing them. GitHub issues and replies are public. See the Privacy Policy for TraceCheck's current data-use disclosures.

General feedback

For a broken page or unclear explanation, include the page URL and what you expected to find. Read About TraceCheck and the methodology for how the site verifies information.
