Kimi Code: Can I Still Subscribe, and Has Membership Split?
This page covers whether current Kimi membership is still the published way to get Kimi Code, and whether the announced Kimi vs Kimi Code split has already happened. Current quota clocks stay on usage limits. A 403 or quota string stays on quota errors. Plan identity stays on Kimi Code. This is not a checkout tutorial.

The new Kimi plans are now released
Fact Kimi Code membership docs now say the new membership plans are available, with pricing unchanged. New members get no weekly quota, only the rolling 5-hour rate window inside the monthly total quota. The Go tier has no coding quota; Plus and above include Kimi Code. Legacy Andante–Allegro subscribers keep their tier, quota rules and auto-renewal, and upgrading is optional.
The 20 July 2026 "new plans not yet available" notice below is therefore superseded. Limits for both cohorts are on Kimi Code usage limits.
Direct answer
Can I still buy Kimi Code membership?
- Current membership
- Fact Current Help Center membership pricing publishes Andante ¥49, Moderato ¥99, Allegretto ¥199, and Allegro ¥699 as auto-renewing monthly or annual subscriptions, with Kimi Code available on those plans. Kimi Code membership docs describe Kimi Code as currently provided with a Kimi membership subscription and sharing that quota.
- 20 July 2026 notice
- Fact of 20 July 2026 The dated plan-adjustment notice said new plans were not yet available because of compute limits, with launch time still to be determined. The same notice said legacy plans remained and existing paid users were unaffected. That is a contemporaneous statement about unreleased new plans. It is not current Fact that Andante–Allegro membership is paused.
- Announced split
- Fact Official Code benefits help: a new membership system is coming that will let buyers purchase Kimi membership benefits and Kimi Code benefits separately. Current subscribers are unaffected. The same page tells people who want today’s merged benefits to purchase the current plan before the new system launches. That split is forthcoming. It is not documented as already completed.
- This account right now
- Unknown — account_dependent Whether a specific login can complete payment today, sees a waitlist, or only renews an existing seat is not a universal Fact. Check the live membership page for that login.

What this page does not do
- It does not treat the 20 July 2026 “new plans are not yet available” line as current Fact that membership sales are paused.
- It does not mark Kimi Code discontinued. Current Help Center and Code docs present membership, including Kimi Code, as the live offer.
- It does not change Extra Usage, 5-hour, weekly, or monthly quota numbers. See the usage-limits guide for those figures.
- It does not publish a split launch date. Official benefits help still describes the new system as coming soon.
- X posts and third-party “still paused” blogs are Observed demand, not canonical Fact.
TraceCheck maintainer: review when Moonshot changes the published Andante–Allegro table, documents that the Kimi vs Kimi Code split has launched, or replaces the 20 July 2026 notice with a current-state pause of those SKUs. Do not treat that dated new-plan notice as equal to the live Help Center membership table.
